Lead Curriculum Developer

Location: Montgomery, AL

We are looking for an experienced, professional Lead Curriculum Developer to join our team! 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Individual will be responsible for conducting all elements of the AF ISD process, to include Instructional Design, Curriculum Development and collaborate with other agencies as required. This work may involve original work and/or integrating the work of several Instructional Design and/or Curriculum Development products. This includes, but is not limited to, taking Instructional Design products and conducting all essential development efforts that result in a complete course that meets the time constraints developed in the Course Design Phase. Coursework includes all materials for student use, delivery materials, and assessment tools as well as materials to prepare faculty to deliver the coursework and/or prepare faculty to conduct train-the-trainer programs. Other duties include:

  •  Develop a test program to gain initial feedback on the productís effectiveness before fielding a finished product
  •  Must successfully format and load the required materials onto the appropriate AU Learning Management System (
  •  Must also successfully format and provide the required materials to the Eaker Center and all materials must be compatible with AF IT systems for all product
  •  Provide overall program management support to ensure that the requirements of this task order are accomplished
  •  Perform project management/process improvement activities, such as creating work breakdown structures/project plans and providing recommendations and implementation on the viability of new technologies to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
  •  Provide program management support to ensure that the requirements of the contract are accomplished
  •  Meet at least weekly with the Client to provide a suspense and activity summary of the past periodís contractor efforts, discuss and coordinate timelines for deliverables for existing and upcoming tasks, and address any other pertinent issues regarding contract support and execution.
  •  Provide a written quarterly roll-up executive report of activity of the past periodís contractor efforts, timelines for next quarterly efforts, and recommendations for future related efforts.
  •  Adjust and/or re-prioritize contractor efforts per Client direction within the scope of these requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  •  Minimum of five years of program manager experience
  •  Extensive knowledge of Air Force squadron structure
  •  Must possess ISD credentials (degree or certification).  
  •  Knowledge of Air Force Squadron organization and structure
  •  Knowledge of, and ability to expertly apply, skills in the development and delivery of online web-and cloud-based interactive courses is preferred.
